PROTERRA ADVERTISING WINS 2004 LATINO MARKETING
AWARD
Dallas, TX… Proterra Advertising and State Farm
recently won the award for Best Multicultural Advertising
Campaign at the 2004 Latino Marketing Awards (LMAs).
The award was formally announced at the 2004 LMA Gala in
Los Angeles on November 4. One of the most prestigious Latino
marketing competitions in the United States, the LMAs attract
hundreds of entries from the country’s leading marketing
and advertising agencies.
Proterra Advertising was selected for the award from more
than 80 entries and was recognized for excellence and effectiveness
in work targeting Latinos inside the United States.
“We are thrilled to be honored in this important
competition,” said Lisa Sanchez, Principal of Proterra
Advertising. “It’s a true testament to the creativity
and cultural insight of our talented staff, as well as State
Farm’s commitment to serving the diverse Latino community.”
The 2004 award marks the second time Proterra has been
recognized by the LMAs. The agency won Best Nonprofit Brochure
in 2003 for its work for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
