Proterra Unveils a new brand, and
a new name
(August 30, 2004)
Proterra Concepts announced today that it has changed its
name to Proterra Advertising. The name change is one of
several changes that reflect a new strategic direction for
the agency.
Danny Sanchez, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Proterra, said the new name more accurately reflects the
focus of the agency. Our goal is to be known for the
services and the service we provide. Were
well-known for our direct marketing capabilities, but our
Hispanic advertising and traditional advertising business
has grown to the point that this change made sense.
Proterra Advertising has rolled out a new logo and
a new web-site to support the name change. We are
growing, continued Sanchez, and we wanted a
name and a presence that reflected our core abilities.
Sanchez also said that Proterra Advertising has been hiring
aggressively to keep up with the staffing demands brought
on by growth. We are excited with the growth of Proterra,
with the support of our clients, and with the caliber of
new employees weve been able to add. Sanchez
noted that recent growth has fueled the hiring of a new
creative director for the agency as well as the hiring of
a new business development specialist for the firm.
